Having had a decades long interest in fabric, particularly in rugs, my participation as a weaver at the Hartford Artisan Weaving Center provides me with an ongoing opportunity to explore and express this interest on the loom through the processes of design and creation. The experience is further enhanced by the friendly, social atmosphere of the Center; an opportunity to engage, learn and share with other creative artisans. It gives me great joy when one of my creations goes to a new home where I know it will be cared for and appreciated.
