Washing Instructions and faq's
about our products
All of our products are handwoven by our artisans. Since each product is individually made, there may be slight variations in the colors and patterns in a product. These variations add to the beauty and uniqueness of owning a handmade item. We like to celebrate the unique nature of each product created by one of our artisans in Hartford Connecticut. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us via ha@weavingcenter.org.
The images, descriptions and measurements you will find on our site have been used to best portray the products created at Hartford Artisans Weaving Center.

Suggested Washing Instructions
Refer to the product tag on each item for the fiber content and refer to the list below
For products handwoven from Chenille, Tencel, Bamboo and blends:
• Gentle hand wash or dry clean
• Tumble dry on low or hang to dry
For products handwoven from Cotton, Cottolin or Linen fabric:
• Machine wash and dry
For products handwoven from Wool and Wool blends:
• Gentle hand wash and lay flat to dry
Curbside pickup
Curbside pick-up is available Monday-Friday by appointment.
If you select curbside pick-up at check out, we will reach out shortly over email to organize a time.
custom Orders
We are happy to work with you to create custom products or special orders! Reach out to us at ha@weavingcenter.com for more information. Please note the lead time for custom and special orders is 12 weeks or longer.
