Lace Weave Techniques
Description:
Join instructor Sally Mullen in an exploration of lace-weaving techniques on your rigid heddle loom. Laces can create open, airy textures in your weaving, and are a lovely accent to scarves and table linens. Students will create a sampler and explore Spanish Lace, Brooks Bouquet, Leno and more in this three hour class.
Prerequisites: Students must be able to dress their own loom, and come prepared to weave on it. Instructions for warping will be provided prior to class.
