COVID-19 Updates

Update April 4, 2022

As of April 4, 2022, as a community, we will continue to wear masks for all activities at the Weaving Center and in our Manchester studio throughout April. I appreciate everyone’s willingness in continuing to follow this policy. This policy will be revisited on April 27 and any updates will be posted. Our vaccination policy remains unchanged: COVID-19 vaccinations are required and boosters are highly encouraged.
There are masks and hand sanitizer available throughout all areas of our Hartford building and in our studio at the Manchester Historical Society.
Please note that these guidelines may change at any time as we continue to monitor and respond to the conditions around the COVID-19 virus.

Thank you for your understanding,

Ann Kollegger
Executive Director

As of January 17, 2022, the Weaving Center continues require everyone to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while participating in any activities. There are masks and hand sanitizer available throughout all areas of our Hartford building and in our studio at the Manchester Historical Society. In addition, COVID-19 vaccinations are required and booster shots are highly encouraged. We will continue to respond to the conditions around the COVID-19 virus to the best of our ability, with safety as our primary focus.

On August 10, 2021, the Board of Directors agreed that everyone participating in activities at the Weaving Center must be vaccinated against COVID-19. We believe this is the best decision for the safety of everyone in our community. In the spirit of social responsibility and care for others, we work on the honor system and do not ask for proof of vaccination. This decision affects all artisans, volunteers, staff, board members, instructors and all registered students for our in-person workshops and classes.

As of August 3, 2021 following the revised guidance from the CDC, we reinstated our mask wearing policy at the Weaving Center. Everyone who comes into the Weaving Center (and in our Manchester classroom) needs to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while in the building. In addition, there is hand sanitizer available throughout all areas of our building.
